AutoGuru + FleetGuru

Founded in 2014 and based on the Gold Coast, Autoguru operates Australia’s largest online vehicle service marketplace that lets drivers compare quotes, book, and pay for car servicing and repairs through a network of trusted local mechanics.

In recent years, Autoguru pivoted it’s business model towards FleetGuru, a fleet maintenance and authorisation platform that digitises quoting, approvals, scheduling and payments for FMOs, corporate fleets and repair partners — using AutoGuru’s OEM‑time quoting logic to speed authorisations and reduce manual work.

FleetGuru

I lead the design for a new platform called FleetGuru, AutoGuru’s entry into the Fleet Management space. My role involved research and collaboration with Data Analysts and key stakeholders within the Contact Centre and management as well as users, who were both Customer and Service Providers.

Quote Flow Redesign

Booking a car service or repair with AutoGuru was a key flow for the business, yet the experience was clunky and asked too many questions. I proposed to reduce the input requirements and number of interactions for users who want to compare prices(view quotes) for selected tasks, the result will be a reduction in drop-off and an increase in converted bookings.

Merchant Finder

In addition to Ampol Fleet integration in AutoGuru’s technology, a redesign of the existing Merchant Finder was required. This would link over to AutoGuru for AmpolCard cardholders to make their online bookings.
